STONE OF THE MONTH:
OBSIDIAN
Obsidian is volcanic glass created when molten lava cools quickly. It comes in a variety of forms, including black, mahogany, snowflake, and gold, silver or rainbow sheen. It can be as sharp as surgical steel in its raw form, and has even been approved for use in veterinary surgery.
Metaphysically, obsidian is a strong protective, calming stone which can relieve stress and stimulate growth, as well as bring clarity. It is also believed to alleviate pain and help circulation.
